SH-60 Seahawk
An SH-60 “Seahawk” assigned to the “Screaming Indians” of Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron Six (HS-6), flies as plane guard, providing search and rescue response during Flight Operations around USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) are currently deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraqi’s weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
